Accessibility Statement
The Standard
Our target is conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 AA is the standard we hold this site to. WCAG is also the standard the U.S. Department of Justice refers to in its guidance on web accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
We chose WCAG because it is the authoritative international standard for web accessibility, determined by the W3C, the global consortium responsible for web standards.
What We Do
To support accessibility across this site, we are committed to implementing the following:
- Semantic HTML landmarks to support screen reader navigation
- Descriptive alt text on all images
- Visible focus states on all interactive elements for keyboard navigation
- Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 AA minimums
- Keyboard-navigable menus and interactive components
- Skip navigation links to bypass repeated content
- Responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and zoom levels
Known Limitations
While we work to ensure WCAG 2.2 AA conformance across all pages, there is no single definitive test for full compliance. We use a combination of automated tools and manual testing. This site was last tested in September 2026: every page was checked against the WCAG 2.2 AA rules of the axe-core testing engine at desktop and phone sizes, followed by keyboard, zoom and reduced-motion checks. Screen reader checks with VoiceOver and NVDA are part of our checklist before each major release.
Online banking, the loan application, the loan payment portal and our mortgage partner's site are provided by other companies on their own systems. Some documents linked from this site are produced by third parties (insurance brochures and applications, partner disclosures) and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We are asking those vendors for accessible versions. If you need any of these documents or services in another format, contact us and we will provide the information another way.
If you find any part of this site that does not meet accessibility standards, please let us know. We take all reports seriously and work to address issues promptly.
